Long weekend :)

It's the long weekend, so it doesn't mean as much since I am unemployed but at least I can see my hubby enjoy his long weekend which is good.
It is one extra day, but one less hour of sleep for the working class people!
Hubby's feeling better today - I don't hear much runny nose/cough.
Maybe it was just a case of hayfever yesterday!
This morning we had another delivery from Asian Grocer.
This time the fresh bread rolls didn't run out of stock so hubby and I were elated!
He's been looking forward to those bread rolls as we haven't had any since lock down.
We made our own version of banh mi even though he wanted to eat it the simple way (ie. put the fried pork into the bread roll and done).
I insisted on preparing the coriander and pickled carrots and cucumber and air frying it.
First one I made was really enjoyable, and felt as good as the ones I get during Cabramatta days.
Second one somehow was too salty.
It's been a pretty lazy day apart from that as I had leftover noodles which we simply only had to microwave for dinner.
We also tried following the instructions to make the Hillway branded Bubble tea and it was quite nice apparently but hubby added double the water to make it less sweet.
I miss going to Crown Tea @ Cabramatta so this was as good as I could get until lockdown ends.
I watched "Travel Guides" yesterday and today, a bit of "The Hundred with Andy Lee" and looking forward to "The Masked Singer" tomorrow!
Gosh, shows, people, culture can all be so very entertaining!
There was a moment where the travel guides went to Cambodia to get a blessing at some temple I think and the guy giving them the blessing just kept drenching them with lots of water as blessings. They were soaked!!
Then I learnt from "The Hundred with Andy Lee" that some 40 odd % of people are willing to share masks with their partners during their pandemic in Australia - so loving. I think Sam's willing to share mine but I'm not willing to do the reverse as I'm just not as loving or saving perhaps!
Meanwhile, my left arm sore muscle is still tense and sore and mildly itchy time to time but I think it's slowly getting better.
I cut myself for the 4th time today with that red knife grr!
Anyway time for a shower soon.
Ciao for now.
