Election

Blah, I wasted 2 days working out who to vote for and in what order.
I was hoping I could just put one number for each paper and proceed, but then realised we had to fill in all the boxes in order of preference for the small paper, and then for the big paper have to either put 1-6 above the line or 1-12 below the line as a minimum.
I miss the days when I'd just rock up to election day and blindly vote just by the party name but I worry too much what life could be like if we vote for the wrong party, and still I might end up voting for the wrong one.
Ignorance is bliss.

As for other things:
My cousin had a brain surgery on Black Friday and all went OK and apparently his tremors went away. How amazing is that!

I learnt on Wednesday that my Aunt got Covid (She thinks she got it from the youngest of her grandkids when dining out - I think I heard he had Covid for 4 weeks so I'm not so sure about that).

Hence Uncle and Aunt managed to negotiate with the hospital to allow my cousin to stay in the hospital for a couple of days until my Aunt returns a negative Covid test just to keep my cousin safe.

Aunt recovered from Covid

Heard today that Aunt has recovered from Covid. That was fast!
She apparently had mild symptoms - bit of temperature and bit of cough and that's it.
Hence, my cousin can return home - or maybe he returned home already.

Done election today.

Bought takeaway for lunch from Cabra and did some grocery shopping as usual.

Last night was cold so had blocked nose after going to the bathroom and thought I was feeling a bit shortness of breath as a result but managed to clear some of the blocked nose, went back to sleep and when woke up all normal again.
Sam on the other hand sounded like he woke up and caught a cold with his runny nose but after a shower he seems a lot better this evening, although he still sounds like he got some sniffles.
Hopefully we won't have to postpone our belated Mother's day celebration tomorrow. Will see how he goes. Won't bother with a Covid test though cos none of his symptoms look like Covid to me.
